Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 14, 2025

Ping Tools Pro ("we", "our", "us") operates the mobile application Ping Tools Pro (package: com.pingtoolspro.app) and website mughu.id.

1. Summary

We designed Ping Tools Pro as a professional network analysis tool that runs network tests locally on your device. We do not collect personal data, we do not use analytics or tracking, and we do not share user data with third parties for advertising or profiling.

2. What information we access

2.1 Information we do not collect

2.2 Information processed locally on your device

Some network data is accessed or generated by the app to perform diagnostics. This data is processed locally on your device and includes:

All network operations are performed on-device or as direct network tests to target hosts; we do not transmit test results to our servers unless you explicitly use an in-app share or export feature.

3. Permissions

To provide functionality, Ping Tools Pro may request the following permissions (Android example):

4. How we use information

Information that exists on your device as a result of running network tests is used solely to provide diagnostic features and to display results in the app. We do not use this information for profiling, advertising, or analytics.

5. Sharing & Third-party services

We do not sell or share personal data with advertisers. The app does not include third-party analytics or tracking libraries by default.

If you choose to share or export test results (for example, via email or copy/paste), the contents of your share may leave your device through the selected share target — that action is initiated by you and is outside the control of Ping Tools Pro.

6. Third-party libraries

The app may include third-party open-source libraries for UI, charts, or networking utilities. These libraries may have their own licenses (MIT, Apache, etc.). Inclusion of such libraries is for functionality only — we do not enable telemetry or tracking through them. For full transparency, the list of third-party libraries and licenses is available in-app or in the project repository (if published).

7. Cookies & Web

Our website mughu.id may use basic cookies for site functionality (for example, session or preference cookies). The mobile app does not use cookies for tracking.

8. Data retention & deletion

Since we do not collect personal data centrally, there is no retained user data on our servers. Any diagnostic logs or settings saved locally on your device can be cleared using the app's settings (Reset to factory defaults) or by uninstalling the app.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect data stored locally in the app. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Use caution when exporting or sharing network test output.

10. Children's privacy

Ping Tools Pro is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us (see below) and we will take steps to remove such data.

11. International users

If you are located outside the developer's country, your use of the app signifies consent to this policy and any local laws that apply. We do not perform cross-border transfers of user personal data because we do not collect or store personal data centrally.

12. Your rights

GDPR (EU residents): Because we do not collect or store personal data centrally, there is no account-based data to access or delete. If you believe we hold personal data about you, contact us at privacy@mughu.id.

CCPA (California residents): We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. To submit rights requests, email privacy@mughu.id.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
